Tim joined LattaHarris in July 2026 as a Senior Manager in the Cedar Rapids office, bringing 40 years of public accounting experience to the firm. A St. John’s University graduate (BS, ’87) and CPA, Tim has built a well-rounded career through leadership roles at a regional public accounting firm, and running his own practice. Having worked on a family-owned farm and coming from a family with deep ties to healthcare, Tim draws on a rich blend of real-world perspective and technical knowledge to support entrepreneurs and business owners.

Tim specializes in serving small businesses, professional services, and healthcare, with a strong focus on multi-entity groups, S Corporations, and high-net-worth individuals. He is particularly passionate about complex tax planning, entity structure optimization, estate planning, and business transition planning. Clients value his ability to break down the pros and cons of entity selection and navigate successful exit strategies—recently structuring a practice sale that resulted in minimal tax liability for his client.

Active in his local community, Tim is involved with Scouting BSA, Knights of Columbus, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Solon, having received the Silver Beaver Award for his distinguished service to youth. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with family, camping, hunting, fishing, and cast iron cooking. You can also find him working around the farm or yard before taking in the sunset with family on the front porch.
