Senior Staff Accountant

Career Opportunity with Iowa Medium-Sized CPA Firm

What do we need?

A senior staff accountant with at least five (5) years of direct accounting experience. CPA certificate or candidates for CPA exam are preferred but not required. Quick Books and/or Ultra Tax experience a plus

Do you enjoy providing our clients with tax and accounting services including income tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses, compilation, review, payroll, and other accounting services?

Successful candidates require a bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA certificate or candidates for CPA exam are preferred but not required. Quick Books and/or Ultra Tax experience a plus. Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with experience & education.

Annual Salary: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00

Tax Manager

Successful candidates must have a CPA license with a minimum of seven (7) years in the tax accounting environment with experience working in pass-through entities, display excellent written & oral communication skills.

What will you be doing?

As a tax manager, your primary responsibility will be providing tax planning and detailed review & analysis of complex tax returns. This position will also be responsible for providing a variety of other tax and accounting services, including engagement planning, client communications, and report presentation. Additional responsibility is to develop, motivate, and train staff-level team members.

The depth and breadth of work along with the educational and other support provided by the Firm will yield an optimal environment for continued professional growth. This position offers the potential opportunity to become a partner.
