Elainie joined LattaHarris, LLP in the spring of 2015 as an intern in the Grundy Center office. She then moved back to her hometown of Washington after completing her degree in May of 2016 and joined the Washington office as a Certified Public Accountant.
Elainie specializes in small business and agriculture taxation. She enjoys assisting her clients in their day-to-day operations, by supporting them with bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and QuickBooks. This gives her the ability to set and achieve goals with clients at both the individual and entity-level through pre and post-tax planning. She prefers a holistic financial approach and promotes working closely with each clients’ financial advisor and attorney to ensure not only the best possible tax outcome but that future plans and goals are being taken into consideration.
She earned a B.A. in both accounting and business administration from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa in December of 2015. Elainie is a member of the AICPA and ISCPA. She leads the Washington office in their community involvement activities and is an Ambassador for the Washington Chamber of Commerce.
Elainie currently resides south of Washington with her husband Parker and two young children, Emmett and Ada. When she isn’t chasing her children around the house, you will find her traveling with her family, enjoying the outdoors or reading.
